Ankor Wat is such a magical place, its so beautiful and a photographers heaven.
In terms of natural light and places to photo there are few places in the world that can compare to Ankor Wat.

- In 1973 I got my first SLR a Canon FTB and have never looked backed. I am a former AFP wire photographer and freelance photographer for AP. My work has taken me to all over the world doing assignments mostly in Asia. I was assigned by AP during the tsunami of 2004 and got the first images out to the world press. My work has been published in USA Today, CNN, Dow Jones publications,Washington Post, Miami Herald, BBC, Tacoma Herald Tribune, Asian Wall St. Journal, Asia Week, Insight Guide books, UNDP, Bangkok Post, New Straits Times, Straits Times Singapore, South China Morning Post, Sydney Morning Herald and many more. Commercial clients included Westin Hotel, Equatorial Hotel group, Tan Jung Rhu resorts. Exhibits included, the Malaysian National Art gallery, US embassy 50 years of Malaysia and the Child in Asia exhibit.

Hi John, your art is stunningly beautiful! I’m not sure if you would remember me but I was your next door neighbor in PJ back in the 60’s. Your sister Tobi was my friend and my brother Ron was your friend. We all went to ISKL together. I’ve been sort of following your career from afar for quite a few years and have finally decided to reach out. I know it was a life time ago but I think about it often. Things are a lot different now, my dad who was an entomologist passed away a year ago and my brother left us 15 years ago, so it’s just me and my mom. I too am an artist all though my medium is oil painting (garciaarts.com) and I live in Santa Barbara Ca.
